Why am I posting my art on Patreon?

Since the recent decision of Meta to use the users’ content (personal photos like selfies as well as artwork) to train their AI, I’ve thought about what I can do to protect my own work. There is really not much one can do on platforms like Instagram and Facebook, as there is no option to opt out —at least in the United States. Unfair? Very.

My protest against these big, imposing powers such as Meta has led me to move to online spaces like Patreon, where (for now) users and their data are still protected. There, I feel comfortable sharing full, high-quality pictures of my watercolors, and it is there that I have decided to build a stronger connection with you all.

Thank you so much for deciding to join my community. I'm sure you'll find plenty of good things there. I look forward to sharing videos, tutorials, and stories with you. If there's anything in particular you'd like to see me make, please leave a comment or message me. I will be happy to read your suggestions and feedback! 😊
